Job summary

Swan, Europe’s embedded banking specialist, is seeking an Application Owner to own one or more complex internal applications, ensuring they evolve with user needs and Swan’s strategic goals.

You will drive end-to-end ownership, enhance tooling, and manage cross-functional projects with internal teams and external partners, in a hybrid Paris-based role. Join a team focused on scalable, reliable software within a regulated fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Own operational tools, workflow platforms, automation tools, and business-critical apps.
• Led cross-functional projects with operational users and technical/external stakeholders.
• Translate user needs into clear requirements, configurations, or implementation plans.
• Use data and operational metrics to evaluate problems, prioritise work, and measure impact.
• Comfortable working with external providers on feature requests, service issues, pricing, renewals, or contracts.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or a similarly regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own applications end to end: manage configuration, access, integrations, documentation, costs, providers, and performance.
• Improve tooling and workflows: optimise usage, identify improvements, evaluate options, and lead migrations.
• Lead cross-functional projects: manage priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive operational improvements: balance quality, scalability, speed, cost, and risk.
• Use data to guide decisions: define KPIs, analyse performance, and set priorities based on evidence.
• Manage stakeholders and change: align internal teams and secure adoption across Operations.
