Swan is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to bridge sales and technical delivery in the fintech space. You will work with Account Executives to move complex enterprise opportunities from discovery to win, shaping solutions that fit compliance requirements and client needs.
You will map payment flows, onboarding journeys, and API integrations, articulating architecture trade-offs and documenting options. This role blends hands-on technical judgment with strategic business impact.
At Swan, we make embedded banking possible through technology. We’re looking for a Senior Solution Engineer who combines the ability to sell with strong fintech product knowledge and hands‑on technical judgment.
You will work alongside Account Executives throughout the pre‑sales journey, helping enterprise prospects turn ambitious business ideas into credible banking solutions. From the first discovery conversation to the technical win and delivery handover, you will connect what the prospect needs with what Swan can deliver and work with Product and Compliance to shape the right setup when requirements are more complex. Pre‑sales is the primary focus of the role. You may also initiate and coordinate selected cross‑team solution projects, with delivery responsibilities shared across the relevant teams.
Help Swan win strategic enterprise business by designing and selling solutions that create clear value for partners, are technically feasible and fit the appropriate compliance framework. Build trust with business and technical decision‑makers, navigate complex requirements, and make sure the solution sold can be successfully handed over for implementation.
Partner with AEs from discovery to technical win: Understand the prospect’s business model, use case, challenges, objectives, decision process, success criteria and existing systems; shape the solution narrative, handle technical objections, and lead workshops, tailored demos or focused proofs of concept that demonstrate business value. Support technical qualification and enterprise due diligence.
Design end‑to‑end solutions: Map payment flows, onboarding journeys, APIs and integration dependencies; explain architecture and trade‑offs; and document assumptions, limitations and phased implementation options.
Explore compliance‑sensitive setups: Identify regulatory and operational questions early, gather the right facts, and work with Compliance to assess the relevant framework, responsibilities and controls. Translate validated guidance into a clear setup for the prospect.
Scope custom solutions responsibly: Separate needs addressable through existing capabilities, configuration or integration design from genuine product gaps, operational changes and questions requiring Compliance validation.
Maintain continuity from sales to delivery: Hand over agreed solutions and commitments for partner implementation. For occasional custom projects, lead assessment and kick‑off, clarify scope and owners, and track dependencies through delivery.
Share and reuse practical expertise: Develop solution templates, demo scripts, FAQs and use‑case guidance; deliver targeted enablement sessions; and help AEs and integration colleagues understand technical positioning, trade‑offs and next steps.
Bring market evidence into product decisions: Build expertise in priority segments and turn prospect feedback into clear, commercially grounded input for Product.
You will join Swan’s Go-to-Market department, working at the intersection of Sales and Partner Delivery, alongside Account Executives and the people who support successful partner integrations. Your closest collaborators will include Product and Compliance, bringing their expertise into enterprise solution design at the right moment. The role combines hands‑on work with prospects and the opportunity to improve how Swan scopes, sells and hands over complex solutions. You will report to the Head of Partner Delivery.
