Job summary

Trane Technologies in Finland seeks a Service Sales Engineer to grow the service business by building long-term customer relationships and delivering energy-efficient HVAC service solutions.

You will identify opportunities, prepare proposals, support customers technically and commercially, and drive service sales targets while collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Finnish and English.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B service or technical equipment sales in industrial environments.
• Technical degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and close deals.
• Self-motivated sales professional with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop aftersales business by building and maintaining long‑term customer relationships.
• Identify sales opportunities and prepare service proposals, present solutions to customers and lead negotiations.
• Sell Trane’s service portfolio including maintenance, startups, digital services, retrofits, replacements.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers, ensuring comprehensive and professional service.
• Build trust and maintain high service quality in all customer interactions.
• Conduct site visits as needed, including outdoor and equipment room environments.
• Report key sales metrics and monitor market trends for new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and service.
• Achieve service sales targets and other business development goals.
