Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists — Strategic Builders who are customer-facing advisors, defining AI strategy and driving adoption for enterprise customers. You will join a delivery team with Forward Deployed Engineers, translating complex business challenges into agentic AI deployments that go live and deliver real value.

Engagements are time-bound, often 12 weeks or less, spanning single or multiple customers, including Government, Nonprofit and Education segments.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS.
• Proven experience delivering customer-facing projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or technical advisory).
• Understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem, including Agentic AI capabilities and Data Cloud.
• Working knowledge of programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, or Apex.
• Ability to lead complex engagements end-to-end from discovery to outcomes.
• Experience with AI/LLM solution design and responsible AI practices.
• Strong project and program management; able to handle multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagements across the value lifecycle — Identify → Commit → Deploy → Consume.
• Define AI strategy and roadmap; run design workshops and sessions.
• Manage engagement delivery timelines, communications, risk escalation, and reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption, and expansion metrics within the engagement.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with execution.
• Develop customer solutions using AI tools and platforms.
• Serve as primary contact with Government, Nonprofit and Education customers.
• Assess AI readiness and guide change management to maximize benefits.
• Synthesize field insights into actionable product feedback for roadmaps.
