Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You will work on end-to-end deployments with a Deployment Strategist, delivering real code with measurable business impact.

The role emphasizes hands-on AI tools, data pipelines, and collaboration with senior engineers. It requires 3+ years in delivery, a CS degree, and travel up to ~25% for customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production system.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Customer-facing technical delivery experience required.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; able to justify prompt choices.

Responsibilities

• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to production deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Develop agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting for deployment health.
• Co-build with customers and partners, surfacing insights to product teams.
