Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers—experienced technical builders who design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise customer environments. You’ll work with a Deployment Strategist to co-create production-ready capabilities.

Bring 3+ years of software delivery, a CS degree, and hands-on LLM experience. Proficiency in Python/JS/Java/Apex and API design will help you excel as you travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Strong data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences deployed in customer environments.
• Design agent intelligence including prompts and tool calls.
• Own end-to-end technical components from architecture to production.
• Build data pipelines with customer data platforms such as Snowflake/Databricks.
• Create dashboards and KPI reports to track deployment health.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to enable knowledge transfer.
• Translate business challenges into actionable AI solutions.
• Travel ~25% to work directly with customers.
