Job summary

Are Oy is seeking an Electrical and Security Service Manager for our property services in Oulu, Finland. The role combines technical expertise, supervision, and customer development to ensure reliable, energy-efficient properties for shopping centers, hotels, and office buildings.

You will supervise installers, oversee maintenance of electrical and security systems, and contribute to bid calculations while nurturing long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Technical education in electrical engineering or technician field.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• S1 or S2 electrical license or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in bid calculations.
• Experience in supervisory work or people management.
• Experience in fire safety inspections is an advantage.

If electrical engineering is your strength and you enjoy leading people, customers and processes, you may be the service manager we are looking for. We are seeking an electrical and security service manager for our property services in a permanent position. As a service manager you will combine technical expertise, supervisory work and customer development. You will be responsible for the maintenance work of electrical and security technology and for bid calculations. The day-to-day is varied: you will lead both hourly small jobs and larger project entities. You will act as the immediate supervisor to installers, support your team, and ensure that work progresses smoothly, with quality and customer focus. In addition you will develop customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase cooperation. In our property services, your work will be visible in our customers' daily life. We take care of, among other things, the technical maintenance of shopping centers, hotels and office buildings, aiming for reliable properties, energy efficiency and good conditions for users. You may be the right expert if you have a suitable technical education, for example electrical engineering or technician degree, at least two years of experience in similar tasks, S1- or S2-electrical license or willingness to obtain it, experience in bid calculations, experience in supervisory work or people management, and experience in fire safety inspections, which is an advantage. You will succeed if you are goal-oriented, cooperative and a supportive supervisor who moves things forward with the team. You work independently, plan your work carefully and keep the whole under control even in changing situations. You value good customer service and want to build long-term, trust-based customer relationships.
