Job summary

Are Oy is seeking a fire and security systems installer for permanent employment in Kotka. You will handle installation, programming, maintenance and repair work on camera, access control, burglary alarm, and fire alarm systems at customer sites.

The role involves independent planning and execution, with a Monday–Friday 7:00–16:00 schedule. You should have technical education, relevant experience, a clean background, and a driver’s license; Finnish language fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience from similar tasks enabling independent work.
• Valid occupational safety card.
• B-driver's license.
• Clean background due to the nature of customer sites.
• Fluent Finnish language skills (spoken and written).

If you answered yes, keep reading. We are now looking for a fire and security systems installer for our property services in a permanent employment relationship.

As a fire and security systems installer, you will be responsible for independently performed installation, programming, maintenance and repair work of camera, access control and burglary alarm systems as well as the installation, maintenance measures and repairs of fire alarm systems of properties in our customer sites. Your working hours will be on weekdays between 7.00 and 16.00. Our property services handle, among other things, technical maintenance and upkeep tasks of shopping centers, hotels and office properties. Our responsibility is to ensure the technical functionality and energy efficiency of our customer properties as well as pleasant conditions for end users.

We expect the following from the applicant:

• Technical education suitable for the task
• Work experience from similar tasks enabling independent work
• Valid occupational safety card
• B-driver's license
• Clean background due to the nature of customer sites
• Fluent oral and written Finnish language skills
• Possibility to use own car

You have good interaction skills and the wires stay in your hands. You are used to working independently and planning, organizing and managing your own activities. Customer service mindset is a matter of course for you.
