Job summary

Markku.fi maintains small houses and housing companies in the Helsinki metropolitan area and now expands into electrical services. We are looking for an electrician to establish Markku's electrical team: you start by doing the work yourself and grow into a team leader, building the group you will lead.

In the initial phase you will perform electrical installation, repairs and maintenance in customers' homes and housing sites, and act as the company's named electrical work manager to ensure

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification: S2 is required; S1 is an advantage.
• Eligible to act as the company’s named electrical work manager.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Possesses a valid B-driver's license and can move between sites.
• Independent, customer‑oriented approach with interest in building/leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, repairs, troubleshooting and condition inspections in customers' homes and housing sites.
• Act as named electrical work manager to ensure work is compliant and well-documented.
• Report via the provided app and maintain clear communication with customers.
• As demand grows, recruit and onboard a team, define roles and service offerings.

Electrician-Markku, future electrical team leader

We are looking for an electrician to establish Markku.fi's new electrical services team. You start by doing the electrical work yourself and grow over time into a team leader – so you get to build the team that you will lead.

Markku.fi maintains small houses and housing companies in the metropolitan area from chimney sweeping to ventilation and from roofs to yards. Now we are expanding into electrical services, and we need you for that. We are looking for an electrician who will establish Markku's electrical team: you start by doing the work yourself and grow over time into a team leader. This is not a ready‑made role in a ready‑made team. This is an opportunity to build it yourself.

What is the work like?

In the beginning, you do electrical installation and maintenance work yourself in our customers' homes and housing company sites: installations, repairs, troubleshooting and condition inspection. You also act as the company's named electrical work manager, meaning you are responsible for ensuring that the work is done according to regulations and documented properly.

The work comes to you through our existing customer base, and orders and scheduling are handled centrally – you can focus on the work itself. Reporting is handled via an app with photos, and the customer always knows in plain language what was done and if there is anything that should be addressed.

When demand grows, you start recruiting and onboarding your team. You decide together with us what kind of installers are brought in and how the work is divided. At the same time, you get to influence what electrical services Markku offers and at what price.

• Electrical qualification at least S2. S1 qualification is seen as an advantage

• At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance work
• B-driver's license, as you move from site to site during the working day
• Independent and customer-service oriented approach – you work daily in customers' homes
