Job summary

Sweco is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large, multi-disciplinary industrial investment projects in Finland and beyond. You will drive delivery from development to handover, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

You will lead high-performing teams, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships while navigating EPCM/PMC environments. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• You have a relevant technical degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent) and 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles.
• You have a proven track record delivering industrial investment projects and strong experience in EPCM, PMC, Owner's Engineering or similar environments.
• You lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead demanding multidisciplinary industrial projects from early development through execution and handover.
• Steer projects at strategic and commercial level, ensuring delivery on time, budget and quality.
• Build and develop high-performing project organisations and manage complex interfaces.
• Collaborate with clients and partners, negotiate and communicate in English; Finnish/Swedish helpful.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, risks and commercial matters across project portfolios.
