Job summary

Sweco is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large industrial investment projects from development to handover. You will run multi-disciplinary teams and own the delivery, spanning engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, with a focus on schedule, budget and client success.

You will communicate in English and may travel domestically and internationally. A technical engineering degree and 10+ years of senior leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering industrial investment projects and strong experience in EPCM, PMC, Owner's Engineering or similar environments.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Finnish/Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead demanding multidisciplinary industrial projects from development through execution and handover.
• Oversee projects at strategic and commercial levels, ensuring delivery on time, budget and scope.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks and commercial matters while coordinating with clients and partners.
• Build high-performing project organisations and manage interfaces across disciplines.
• Travel within Finland and internationally as required by projects.
