Job summary

RINA is seeking a Machinery & Systems Project Engineer to join its Finland office in Turku. The role focuses on the successful technical execution of high-value projects, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across multidisciplinary teams.

The position involves leading technical delivery, coordinating engineers and subcontractors, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical projects; 1-5 years managing projects using established project management disciplines and methodologies.
• Understanding of PM project controls (scheduling and cost control) and change management process.
• Proficient in standard project management methodologies and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical aspects of high-value and large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the technical assessment and feasibility for the proposal phase.
• Ensure the technical delivery of projects meets content quality and project milestones.
• Lead the project engineering team, assigning tasks and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide on-the-job technical training and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
