Ramboll is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our Data Center Facilities group in the Nordics. You will craft data center cooling and HVAC solutions across Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway, while collaborating with global specialists. The role supports flexible, hybrid work and a diverse, multinational team.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing or constructing data center facilities.
• Experience working as a consulting mechanical engineer.
• Understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
• Excellent communicator able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
• Develop innovative thermal management solutions for AI, HPC, hyperscale, and colocation facilities.
• Ensure cooling systems achieve required resilience, efficiency, sustainability, and uptime targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cooling strategy, liquid cooling adoption, and future-ready data center design.
