Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for its DataCenterFacilities unit in Finland, joining the Nordics group to deliver robust data center solutions with a global network of specialists.

You will lead electrical design from concept through construction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, compliance, and quality while maintaining a strong focus on sustainable outcomes and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical design teams on data center projects.
• Track record in designing or constructing datacenter facilities.
• Experience as a consulting electrical engineer.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Understanding of BIM processes and digital design delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center projects from concept to handover.
• Oversee critical power infrastructure, MV/LV, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality with standards and client specs.
• Coordinate interfaces with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide design reviews, calculations, and technical documentation.
