Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure within our Nordic DataCenterFacilities group in Finland. You will be part of a multilingual team collaborating across the Nordics and beyond, driving sustainable thermal solutions for AI, HPC and colocation projects.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and act as a trusted advisor on cooling strategy, liquid cooling adoption, and future-ready data

Qualifications

• Experience designing or constructing datacenter facilities.
• Experience as a consulting mechanical engineer.
• Strong skills in Revit/BIM 360 for digital design delivery.
• Excellent communicator able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
• Develop thermal management solutions for AI/HPC hyperscale and colocation.
• Ensure cooling systems meet resilience, efficiency and uptime targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Advise clients on cooling strategy and future-ready data center design.
