Job summary

Ramboll in Finland is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure. You will join the Nordics group for Data Center Facilities across Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway, collaborating with colleagues worldwide in a hybrid work model.

Key tasks include leading projects, mentoring teams, and advising clients on cooling strategy and liquid cooling adoption, with focus on resilience, efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or constructing data center facilities.
• Experience as a consulting mechanical engineer.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
• Develop innovative thermal management solutions for AI, HPC, hyperscale, and colocation facilities.
• Ensure cooling systems meet resilience, efficiency, sustainability, and uptime targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams across projects.
• Advise clients on cooling strategy and future-ready data center design.
