Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Project Director to lead large, multidisciplinary industrial investment projects from development through handover. You will steer projects delivered under EPCM or similar models, including process industries, data centres and energy facilities, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

Technical degree (BSc/MSc or equivalent) in engineering.
10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles.
Experience delivering industrial investment projects (EPCM, PMC or Owner's Engineering).
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules, budgets, risks and commercial matters.
Fluent in English; Finnish/Swedish an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead large and demanding industrial investment projects or project portfolios from development through handover.
Oversee multidisciplinary interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Lead project at strategic and commercial levels and manage client and partner relationships.
Travel within Finland and, depending on the project, internationally.
