Catenon is currently looking for a Sales and Events Operations Manager for a prestigious international hotel, based in Barcelona. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your mission will consist of leading effectively the team by generating budgeted top line revenue and RevPAR for the hotel through a successful revenue management strategy. Assist with all sales strategies and actions necessary to exceed budgeted goals.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or business preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HOTEL Sales Roles, with at least 3 years as a senior manager (with direct teams, at least 4-5 people) or ADOS within the hospitality industry. Excellent spoken and written communications skills in Spanish and English, Catalan is a plus, but not required. Good understanding and experience of group, corporate, leisure, and event markets and previous work experience in the Barcelona luxury lifestyle market. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. Opera and Delphi are a plus.
