Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to support offshore wind asset operations. You will monitor turbines, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.

You will work in a rotating shift, travel up to 20% when required, and contribute to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic wind-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in issue resolution and performance restoration.
• Escalate complex issues with structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting of technical findings and process improvements.
• Participate in rotating weekday shifts and on-call weekends/holidays.
• Support grid outages when required with safety and compliance.
