Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center focused on wind energy in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbines, analyze alarms, and coordinate with site teams to ensure safe and reliable offshore wind asset operation.

You will lead remote diagnostics, support commissioning and service, review operational data, and contribute to continuous improvement while working a rotating weekday schedule with on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar systems in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays
