GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in wind energy. You will support safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets, collaborating with site teams to diagnose issues and ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

The role involves remote monitoring, data analysis, and hands-on collaboration with engineering colleagues, with travel up to 20% and potential relocation to Barcelona for EU work eligibility.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
