Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to monitor offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, coordinating with site teams and engineers to maintain safe, reliable turbine performance.

You will diagnose issues, perform remote troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting grid-related activities. Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
