GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead role in Barcelona, Spain, supports offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues, and assist commissioning and service activities to keep turbines operating reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze operational data to identify faults, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy
• Hands-on wind turbine/electromechanical systems experience in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Fluent English; willing to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility

Aufgaben

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call rotation for weekends/public holidays
