Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to supervise offshore wind assets from the Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, ensuring safe, reliable performance and continuous improvement. You will coordinate with site teams, engineers, and service partners to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues across commissioning and ongoing operations.

The role requires hands-on wind energy experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting of technical findings and process improvements.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts and occasional on-call weekends/public holidays.
