Job summary

GE Vernova invites applications for a ROC Technical Lead in Wind Remote Operations Center, based in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote center, coordinating with site teams and engineers to diagnose and resolve issues.

You hold a engineering degree, have hands‑on wind turbine experience, and are proficient with SCADA and electrical schematics. Travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility are required; fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical system operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, clear communication, and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms from a remote operations center.
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to resolve problems.
• Analyze data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required with safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
