GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and coordinate with site teams to sustain safe, efficient offshore wind operations.

The role involves shift work, on-call support, and potential travel across Europe. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree with wind energy experience, strong SCADA skills, and fluent English.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting

Mansioni

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
