GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center focused on wind assets. Based in Barcelona, you will monitor turbine health, perform remote diagnostics, and guide commissioning and service activities to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will collaborate with field engineers and global teams, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement while supporting grid outages with safety as a priority. Fluency in English and EU relocation are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Availability to travel up to 20%, and EU work eligibility with relocation to Barcelona.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/public holidays.
