Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in wind energy. You will monitor offshore turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and guide field teams to resolve issues while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvements. Relocation to Barcelona and EU work eligibility are required, with up to 20% travel and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
Experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and other digital monitoring tools.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.
Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
Support grid outages when required, prioritizing safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
