Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets. You will work with site teams and engineers to detect, analyze, and resolve issues ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will monitor performance, support remote diagnostics, and drive continuous improvement while complying with safety standards and shift rotations, including on-call weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
