GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub, across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle. The role involves monitoring performance, remote diagnostics, collaboration with engineering teams, data analysis

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience in wind energy operations.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
