Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind asset operations from a centralized hub. You will work with site teams and engineers to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring safe, reliable performance across the asset lifecycle.

You will lead remote diagnostics, supervise commissioning and service activities, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational settings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
