Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, is seeking a Waiter/Waitress for our Food & Beverage team. Based at the property, you will deliver food and beverages with precision, warmly inviting guests to experience luxury service in line with our standards.

You will demonstrate product knowledge, communicate offerings clearly, and upsell where appropriate while maintaining impeccable cleanliness and teamwork in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Formación

• Hold a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Have 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Experience in luxury hospitality is highly desirable.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, theWaiter/Waitressis responsibleforperforming all operational tasks and duties within the outlet under the guidance of managers and supervisors.The role’s primaryobjectiveis to serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service and leaves delighted.

As Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Have a thorough understanding of the outlet’s concept and food & beverageofferings andbe able to clearly communicate them to guests.
• Prepare miseenplace for each shift andmaintaincleanliness and organization throughout service, including polishing and assembling equipment.
• Deliver attentive, efficient, and personalized service by understanding andanticipatingguest requirements.
• Properly present all dishes and beverages in line with hotel and outlet standards, and up-sell services and products to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Assistwith stock handling, including linen, beverages, and other supplies, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Maintain outlet equipment and utensils in excellent condition through careful day-to-day handling and completion of side duties as assigned.
• Communicate guest preferences, allergies, or special requests to management and kitchen colleagues, and keep product knowledge up to date.

As Waiter/Waitress, we expect you:

Experience and education

• Hold a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Have 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Experience in luxury hospitality is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge ofluxury hospitality standardsand ability to deliver service at the highest level.
• Excellentcommunication skills, able to interact seamlessly with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Attentive to guest needs, with the ability toanticipateexpectations and create memorable experiences.
• Team-oriented mindset, cooperating and supporting colleagues tomaintainsmooth operations.
• Awareness ofhealth, safety, and hygiene standardsin all service areas.
• Familiarity with POS systems and standard service procedures is an advantage.
