Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking a Receptionist to join our Front Office team. You will ensure a flawless check-in/check-out experience and deliver attentive guest service throughout their stay.

Based at our Mallorca property, you will handle bookings, guest records, and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and concierge to maximize guest satisfaction. Strong English and Spanish, plus flexibility for shifts, are essential.

Formación

• Previous experience in the same role is preferred.
• Strong communication in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work in shifts (day, afternoon, night).
• Basic IT skills with MS Office and Windows.

About The Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring a flawless check-in/check-out process.

As Receptionist, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Ensure smooth and efficient guest arrivals and departures.
• Provide attentive service and address guest needs throughout their stay.
• Handle reception-related paperwork, booking systems, and guest records.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
• Answer calls and emails, provide information and assisting with guest requests.
• Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage guest payments, issue invoices, and handle billing inquiries.
• Follow hotel security procedures, including verifying guest identification and safeguarding personal data.
• Handle and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and organized.
• To perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Front Office Manager.

As Receptionist, weexpectfrom you:

Experience and education

• Previous experience in the same role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
• Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts (day, afternoon, and night).
• Well-groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming standards.
• Basic IT skills, with solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity of hotel management systems (e.g., HMS, Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS)
