Chubb Ltd. in Madrid, Spain, is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician - Digital (Swedish Speaker) to support AI-assisted underwriting across the Iberian SME portfolio.

You will monitor automated queues, validate AI-extracted data, apply underwriting judgment, and help optimize automation rules while coordinating with technology and operations teams.

Formación

• Experience in insurance or financial services operations.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Confidence working in AI‑augmented environments and questioning automated outputs.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain decisions clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Proficiency using AI tools.
• Business-level in Swedish, English, and Spanish; an additional European language is an advantage.
• A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to grow as a Subject Matter Expert.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor automated processing queues and resolve exception cases within agreed SLAs.
• Review and validate AI‑extracted data against source documents.
• Apply underwriting judgment to complex or non‑standard cases.
• Identify recurring exceptions and support continuous improvement of automation rules.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to refine workflows and thresholds.
• Support testing and validation of AI workflow changes before production.
• Manage broker digital experience, including access, maintenance, and escalated queries.
• Carry out quality checks, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Help improve processes and reduce inefficiencies across operations.

Job Description

Within Chubb’s Operations Hub for Continental Europe, this role sits at the intersection of intelligent automation and human expertise. You’ll help ensure AI-assisted underwriting processing for our Iberian SME portfolio is accurate, compliant, and delivered to the highest standards.
