Chubb Ltd. in Madrid, Spain, is seeking an Underwriting Operations Technician – Digital (German Speaking) to support AI-assisted underwriting and ensure high-quality P&C submissions.

You will validate AI-extracted data, handle complex cases, and collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to improve processes. The role emphasizes attention to detail, data-driven decision making, and learning new technologies.

Formación

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in insurance or underwriting operations preferred.
• Proficient with data, systems and exceptions.

Responsabilidades

• Review and validate AI-extracted submission data against broker documents.
• Process complex or non-standard submissions requiring human judgment.
• Prepare and quality-check policy documentation within agreed SLAs.
• Triage exception queues and resolve issues flagged by automated systems.
• Support escalation of higher-risk submissions and fraud indicators.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and supporting automation enhancements.
• Participate in testing and validating AI workflow changes.
• Produce reporting and maintain accurate records for governance and compliance.
• Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to support efficient operations.

Job Description

As part of Chubb’s Operations Hub for Continental Europe, this role plays a key part in supporting AI-assisted underwriting operations and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and completeness of P&C submissions processed for our underwriters and clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, analytically minded, and interested in working at the intersection of insurance operations and emerging technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate AI-extracted submission data against broker documents.
• Process complex or non-standard submissions requiring human judgment.
• Prepare and quality-check policy documentation within agreed SLAs.
• Triage exception queues and resolve issues flagged by automated systems.

• Experience in insurance or underwriting operations is preferred.
• Ability to work confidently with data, systems, and exceptions.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn new technology and processes.
• Proficiency using Ms Excel and AI tools.
