Maersk in Valencia is seeking a Transport Network Planner to design, optimize, and maintain transportation network solutions that support reliable, efficient, and cost-effective logistics operations. You will translate customer and business requirements into executable network plans, ensuring service levels, routing, lead times, and carrier solutions to support operational excellence.

Formación

• Experience in transportation planning, logistics, or network design.
• Strong understanding of multimodal transportation, routing, and logistics operations.
• Experience analyzing network performance, costs, lead times, and service levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into practical business solutions.
• Commercial mindset balancing customer requirements, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain transportation network plans, routing strategies, and service solutions across multiple logistics flows.
• Develop and manage lane profiles, lead-time models, and service requirements to support reliable operations.
• Define and optimize routing, consolidation, mode selection, and carrier allocation strategies.
• Collaborate with Procurement and operational teams to support carrier sourcing, network implementation, and service deployment.
• Analyze network performance, costs, service levels, and capacity utilization to identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate alternative scenarios and recommend solutions that balance cost, service, capacity, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure network plans, routing guides, and carrier information are maintained and aligned with business requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, performance reviews, and network optimization activities.
