Zusammenfassung

IES ABROAD Madrid is seeking a Student Success Assistant for our Madrid center. The SSA will support the Student Success Coordinator by triaging student issues, documenting interactions, and serving as a visible resource to students.

The role includes coordinating with Student Affairs and Academic teams, attending SST meetings, and maintaining regular office hours to engage with students in the Center. Evening availability is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in liberal arts, social sciences, psychology, education, social work or related field.
• Availability in the evenings during the week.
• Near-native command of English language.
• Proficient in local language.
• Legal ability to work in country, even for short-term contracts.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Student Success Coordinator as primary on-site advocate for IES students.
• Triage student issues and document, monitor, escalate as needed.
• Attend SST meetings and provide data on student progress.
• Maintain office hours and be accessible to students at the Center.
• Support health and safety coordination and emergency phone rotation as needed.
