Job summary

IE University is seeking a dedicated Advisor for its Student Services department in Madrid. The role focuses on guiding students through visa, housing, insurance and essential services, ensuring a smooth start to life in Spain.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong organizational, IT, communication and writing skills, and prior customer service experience. The position is full-time at IE Tower, Madrid.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Excellent organizational, IT, communication and writing skills.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Be familiar with all aspects of office operations.
Be familiar with the programs, services, policies, and procedures.
Complete all tasks assigned in an accurate, prompt and thorough manner.
Make effective use of work time.
Communicate and interact positively and effectively with staff, students and parents from different nationalities.
Possess sound judgment and strong organizational skills.
Function autonomously and manage routine tasks with minimal supervision.
Be familiar with word processing, computer data entry, filing and telephone reception.
Consistently contribute to department standards.
Empathize with students from diverse backgrounds and communicate clearly to an international audience.
