Rhenus A&O in Vigo, Spain, is seeking a field sales professional in freight forwarding to win, retain and develop customers through proactive hunting and face-to-face meetings.

The role focuses on assessing profitability, building strong customer rapport, and expanding market share by collaborating with product teams and other channels. Travel and market engagement are expected as part of driving growth.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years field sales in freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of ocean/air freight, import & export, and consolidation.
• Demonstrated competence in conflict management, decision making and strategic planning.
• Strong hunter mentality, communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding negotiation skills.
• Ability to think outside the box and act entrepreneurially.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Native Spanish; fluent in written and spoken English; willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Win, retain and develop customers through field sales and by setting appointments for face-to-face meetings with customers.
• Assess profitability of prospects to secure winning bids and build rapport with customers.
• Improve gross profit and market share while developing ongoing relationships with new customers.
• Follow up offers and client development; monitor shipment activity and implement counter measures.
• Report all sales activity (Meetings, Reports, Opportunities, Leads) in the CRM system.
• Participate in all training provided by Rhenus A&O.
