Machina Labs in Europe seeks a Director of Defense Business Development to establish and grow our presence with European defense primes, with potential expansion to the Middle East. This is a remote role based in Europe with extensive travel.

You will work with engineers, program leaders, and executives to identify programs, develop technical engagements, proof-of-concept and qualification activities, and eventually production opportunities, either via Machina factories or on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering foundation with business development or program leadership experience.
• Experience engaging with defense primes and complex aerospace programs.
• Proven ability to move opportunities from relationships to technical engagements.

Responsabilités

• Develop Europe defense market strategy including primes and programs.
• Identify and convert opportunities into POCs and production programs.
• Build relationships across engineering, program, and leadership teams.
• Travel extensively within Europe and to global HQ as needed.
