Job summary

Warehouses De Pauw SA is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover Spain, with a focus on Valencia. You will report to the Country Manager Spain and drive regional expansion, building local intelligence and commercial networks to win initial opportunities and translate WDP’s track record into a local market position.

You will develop a local market map, negotiate contracts, and work with internal teams on new construction, land acquisitions and portfolio strategies, while staying abreast

Qualifications

• Master's degree or relevant professional experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in logistics real estate, industrial real estate, occupier advisory, development, brokerage, land acquisition, asset management or real estate expansion.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as WDP’s local ambassador in the Valencia logistics ecosystem and implement the commercial strategy by identifying opportunities.
• Develop the local market map of occupiers, brokers, landowners and developers and lead contract negotiations.
• Develop new sites and seek acquisitions of existing logistics buildings, including land and built-to-suit.
• Collaborate with legal, technical and financial colleagues and monitor sector trends focusing on smart buildings and sustainability.
