Job summary

AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG is seeking an experienced Country General Manager in Spain to drive growth, expand market presence, and lead the local team. The role blends strong sales leadership with operational oversight and cross-country collaboration to optimize processes and profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in international freight forwarding, deep commercial acumen, and fluency in Spanish and English, ready to manage a key market in Madrid and shape

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics or transport (Road Transportation).
• Strong commercial background with proven business development success.
• At least 3 years in a senior commercial, leadership or business management role.
• Experience leading a team, business unit, or country organization.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the business development strategy for Spain.
• Drive sales growth and acquire new customers.
• Participate in key customer meetings, negotiations, and strategic commercial activities.
• Strengthen relationships with existing clients and partners.
• Build, manage, and develop the local team and improve processes and KPIs.
• Represent AsstrA on the Spanish logistics market and coordinate with international teams.
