Job summary

AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG in Madrid seeks an experienced Country General Manager to lead and develop the Spain business. You will focus on growth, customer development, and market expansion, strengthening sales activity and building a solid commercial pipeline.

You will organize local processes, enhance team performance, and improve operational efficiency, coordinating with international teams to represent AsstrA in the Spanish logistics market. Fluent Spanish and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transport and a strong commercial track record.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
• Experience leading a country or business unit and driving growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Spain business development strategy.
• Drive sales growth and acquire new customers.
• Participate in key meetings, negotiations and strategic activities.
• Strengthen relationships with clients and partners.
• Build, manage and develop the local team.
• Improve internal processes and operational performance.
• Monitor KPIs, profitability and market development.
• Coordinate with AsstrA teams in other countries.
• Represent AsstrA on the Spanish logistics market.
