Sofar in Spain seeks an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will develop strategies, manage major EPCs, developers, and utilities, and close large-scale contracts.

This role requires a strong PV and grid-connection knowledge, a proven track record with large projects, and willingness to travel up to 50%. You will collaborate with technical and product teams to tailor solutions and win bids.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in utility-scale solar/BESS sales with large-project experience.
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, grid connection, inverter/BESS technologies; experience with EPC, tendering, and financing structures.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Lead full sales cycle from identification to contract closure for large-scale projects.
• Engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers and utilities to build partnerships.
• Provide technical and commercial support, including system solutions and value propositions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the utility-scale sector.
• Report on pipeline, sales performance, and market insights.
