Sofar in Salamanca, Spain seeks an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and expand our presence in utility-scale solar and BESS markets. The role focuses on managing and closing large-scale projects with EPCs, developers, and utilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in utility-scale solar/BESS sales, strong knowledge of PV systems and grid connections, and excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in utility-scale solar or BESS sales with large project experience.
• Proven track record closing large-scale solar or energy storage deals.
• Strong PV systems, grid connection, and inverter/BESS knowledge.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Identify and engage IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities.
• Lead full sales cycle from identification to contract closure.
• Provide technical and commercial support with system solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with technical, product, and marketing teams.
• Represent Sofar at events and client meetings.
• Report on pipeline, performance, and market insights.
• Collect customer feedback to optimize solutions.
