Sofar is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the utility-scale solar and BESS market in Spain. You will drive large-scale project wins, manage key EPCs, developers, and utilities, and orchestrate the full sales cycle from identification to contract closure.

Ideal candidates have a strong solar energy background, deep knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and energy storage technologies, and a proven record of closing multi-megawatt deals while traveling up to

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar/BESS sales with large projects.
• Proven track record closing large-scale solar or energy storage projects.
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, grid connection, and inverter/BESS technologies.
• Familiar with EPC tendering and financing structures.
• Strong network with developers, EPCs, or utilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting utility-scale solar and BESS projects, driving market share growth.
• Identify and engage IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities, building long-term partnerships.
• Lead the full sales cycle from project identification, bidding, negotiation to contract closure for large-scale projects.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers, including system solutions and value proposition.
• Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities within the utility-scale solar sector.
• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management and project forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and proposals.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
• Provide regular reporting on project pipeline, sales performance, and market insights.
• Collect customer feedback and work with product teams to optimize solutions for utility-scale applications.
