Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Elasticsearch - Storage Engine to design, implement, and optimize core storage and query engine components. This globally distributed, fully remote team develops high-performance storage and query technologies for observability workloads, focusing on indexing, serialization, and data layout improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architectural evolution of core storage engine components and resolve indexing bottlenecks.
• Drive cross-organizational initiatives to build observability solutions.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team focusing on logs and metrics in Elasticsearch.
• Introduce best practices for clean coding and architectural clarity across the platform.
• Serve as SME and mentor to the engineering organization.
• Triage, resolve, and review issues and PRs with domain experts.
