Job summary

Emergo by UL in Europe is seeking a Senior Sales Executive for Medical Device Consulting Services (EMEA). This role can be remote or hybrid from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague.

You will lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services, working with customers to tailor solutions and close agreements. You bring 5+ years of consultative sales, a background in medical devices or life sciences, and strong English (C1).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or related field.
• English proficiency at least C1.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets (minimum $3 million/year).
• Experience in medical device and/or life sciences industries.
• Knowledge of Human Factors engineering is preferable.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for HF advisory services during the sales cycle.
• Articulate value proposition in client presentations and proposals; manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quotas; collaborate with SMEs to craft tailored advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline via outreach and trade shows.
• Build trust with customers to identify needs and pain points in product development.
• Contribute to marketing strategy for Human Factors business.
• Advise leadership on customer needs and industry trends.
• Maintain plan to prioritize target accounts and relationships.
• Gain HF knowledge through training and self-study.
• Identify key customers for needs discovery and opportunities.
