Job summary

Emergo by UL is seeking a Senior Sales Executive for Medical Device Advisory Services in the EMEA region. The role is customer-facing, selling premium Human Factors advisory services with strong technical credibility, and can be remote or hybrid from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague.

You will lead the sales cycle, build a strong pipeline, and work with experts to tailor solutions that deliver measurable value for clients in the medical and life sciences industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a proven ability to meet/exceed targets.
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience.
• Human Factors Engineering knowledge is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution.
• Articulate value proposition in client presentations and proposals; manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales quotas; collaborate with SMEs to craft customized advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline through proactive outreach and trade shows/conferences.
• Identify customer needs and integrate HF solutions into product development processes.
• Contribute to marketing strategy and events for Human Factors business.
• Advise leadership on evolving customer needs and industry trends.
• Maintain plans to prioritize target accounts and sustain relationships.
