Job Purpose:

As a Senior Business Data Analyst in the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) department, you will support the development and execution of a global risk assessment framework by applying advanced data analytics to identify compliance risks, fraud indicators, and process inefficiencies. You will work closely with the Senior Director for Risk Monitoring & Data Analytics and cross-functional teams across regions to deliver insights that drive ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.

This role plays a key part in strengthening TD SYNNEX’s global culture of integrity by delivering data-driven insights that support ethical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk management across regions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis involving large volumes of structured and unstructured data from ERP systems (SAP and others) and other sources to identify compliance risks and anomalies.
  • Support the design, development and maintenance of dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Power BI, Excel, and SQL to support E&C risks monitoring and investigations.
  • Contribute to the development of automated tools and scripts using VBA and Python.
  • Interpret financial statements and accounting data to support development of analytical solutions, compliance reviews and investigations.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to understand risk indicators, define data requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Assist in the design and development of risk assessments, fraud detection models, and compliance monitoring programs.
  • Work with APIs and integrate data from multiple systems to support automation and advanced analytics.
  • Contribute to the development of AI/ML-based tools and techniques to enhance risk detection and predictive analytics.
  • Participate in the design and development of best-in-class analytics solutions across E&C and other corporate functions.
  • Stay current on compliance trends, regulatory changes, and data analytics best practices.
  • Expected to demonstrate independence in technical execution and delivering tasks and projects, under strategic direction of the Senior Director for Risk Monitoring & Data Analytics while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within compliance, audit, or risk functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Familiarity with compliance, fraud, and risk‑related topics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, VBA, and Python (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish or other languages are a plus).
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML applications in data analytics.
  • Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Snowflake or similar platforms is an advantage.
